Once kids start to talk, they say the cutest things. . . like:

Of food he doesn't want to eat any more he recommends I "save it to later... in plastic."

Spencer often asks, "Where's you doing, mama?"

Of his sister he says lovingly, "I love my baby sister - she's soooo squishy!"

And if he can't find something, he'll say he doesn't "know to find" Scuffy the Tugboat, for example.

And my favorite the other day when I couldn't write with a dried-out marker and was complaining about it he said, "It doesn't work? Because it doesn't have a battery!?"

Keepin' her Safe

I spend a lot of time in my day being a big brother, and keeping Marina Pearl safe.

Right now, one of my favorite activities is dumping all my behicles out on the floor and then arranging them in different formations all over the house.

My baby sister is already a month old!  She's growing up so fast....

We went on a little camping trip across the Bay with our friends Matt, Susanna, and Bea.  We got rained out, so our friends Adele, Gunner and Thea took us to their yurt in Halibut Cove.  By the end of the day, we were all exhausted!
