Bea Benjamin

We made good friends with a lady in Marin named Bea Benjamin. She is an artist who likes to draw bees and dogs and other things.
She also like babies.

(All this traveling has left me feeling a little blurry and unfocused though...
I think I need a nap.)

Playing on the Beach

Me, mom and dad did a little playing on the beach!

California is Beautiful

Last week my parents woke me up in the middle of the night, and we got inside a really big car with wings that went up in the air. I was pretty sleepy, so I napped a lot, but when we finally got out of the big car with wings we were somewhere very sunny and beautiful. It looks kinda like Alaska, but a lot warmer.

Ollie, the Stick Dog

We have this amazing creature that hangs around our house all the time. My parents call him, "Ollie" and he LOVES to chase sticks. Sometimes, he takes rides in the car with us, and his big slobbery tongue makes me laugh.

Little Monkey

This little monkey likes these beautiful fall days. What could be better than munching on grass in the park on a sunny autumn day?

Modern Art

Mom and I went and visited an outdoor sculpture garden the other day.
I like modern art.

Blond Biker Mathew

I got to meet a good friend of my mom's who every one calls "Blond Biker Mathew."
He was awesome. Apparently, a few years ago he rode his bike all the way from Alaska to Colorado. Wow... I hope someday I will be able to ride a bike, too.
See you next summer, Mathew!

A Little Sunshine

I'm sure glad they make carharts in my size..

Learning To Eat

I've been learning to eat real foods recently, and I don't know how I feel about it. Why can't everything just taste like breastmilk, you know what I'm saying?? Oh, and check out my super fancy chair, yo. Who needs high chairs, when you can sit inside a milk crate, baby.
ps - in case you didn't know... i got my first two teeth!

Out of this World

Another thing we saw on that Big Boat Trip was Moonjellies! They were out of this world! They looked like little spaceships, and there were millions of them.

Big Boat Trip

We went on a big boat trip for mom's birthday and saw waterfalls, caving glaciers and even humpback whales!
You'll just have to imagine the whales, though, because we were so in amazed by them, we didn't remember to take any pictures.

Just Hanging Around

Nothing's better than just hanging around with my family. I think hammocks are a pretty cool invention.

Happy to Be Home!

After such a long eventful trip, I was happy to be home, enjoy the view from our cabin, and hang out with old friends, like my buddy Oscar who is teaching me how to read.

I met some cool folks, Liz, Travis and Travis' mom when I was on a trip with my parents in Seward. Then, they even came and visited me in Homer. Come visit again, you were fun!

More Family!

I got to meet my Auntie Raven, and my [Great!] Uncle Don in Seattle also. My mom was super happy to see them, too.

Matson Family

I got to meet a bunch of relatives from my mom's side of the family. They were so great. Here's Aunties Katryn, Kaeli, & Kristen! I also got to meet my cousin Kasey and his girlfriend Tracy, and my sweet cousins Jillian and Kiera who loved to tickle me and play with me!
Anybody else have pictures from that get together?
