Back Home in Alaska

My mom's parents came and visited after we got back to Alaska. They said I really grew up on my trip. Well, yeah I am TEN months old now! Not a newborn anymore.

Never Even Left LA

We actually left LA a little while ago, but it takes so long to post all these pictures and write all the captions - in between learning how to walk and talk! Thanks LA, for the good times. Hope to visit you again soon!

Really into Rainbows

It doesn't rain a lot in LA, but for some reason they are really in to rainbows. We saw a rainbow parade on the street in downtown LA, and a rainbow angel wanted to pose for a picture with me. I didn't know what all the excitement was about, but I tried to seem interested.

Risha nd Rajesh

Met some cool kids while we were eating out in a Mayalysian restaraunt. Rajesh was just my age, and he knew all the same tricks and words that I did! We spent some time telling each other stories, and showing each other our latest dance moves. If we lived in the same state, we would definitely hang out. His older sister Risha was pretty cute, so I told her some jokes made her laugh. Good times, good times...

Traveling in Style

Grandma and Grandpa Co wave good bye before taking off in their helly-copter,
and we watched them from the grass as they flew off into the sunset.
Wow, some people know how to travel!

The Whole Crew

Look at this big family!

This year, ever since I was born, I've met so many new people that are family. I'm one lucky boy to have so many great people who love me!

Giant Bathtub

Uncle Schenely and Auntie Olive had a giant bathtub in their back yard, and mom took me swimming in it. I've just been warming up to the idea of bathing, and this whole swimming thing was a little much. I think, with time though, I might learn to like it.

Study This!

Did you know that studies done with blind people have proved that expressions are genetically inherited. This picture of me and my auntie might prove it also!

Dinner Conversations

Really, you think I should be a model?

Hey, you're just teasing me!

Amazing Creatures

LA was full of amazing little creatures!
We saw little human pumkins, life-size lady bugs, diminuative pirates, a sad little bumble bee and maybe a distant relative of Mariyn Monroe...

The Santa Monica Peir

Santa Monica was probably my favorite place in LA. There were so many cool shops to go into, and the beach was right there.

My Chariot Awaits!

It was like ancient times... I just got to sit in my chariot and holler out directions to my humble servants (formerly known as my parents) and they took me where I wanted to go!!! I like biking.

His Tung?

My uncle Schenley has a really wierd thing in his mouth - it's kinda scary, but I got to touch it! I think they call it his tung.

Sisters are Strange Creatures!

My aunties Elise and Angie are interesting creatures! When I met them they quickly started trying to communicate to me in sign language. I'm not really sure what any of it meant, though. Maybe when I get older I will be able to decipher the true meaning of their ways. . .

Get me to the Getty!

We went to the Getty Museum in LA. There was a beautiful garden there, as well as some art and photographs. It was fun to travel with a big family... there's always someone to carry me when my mom or dad's arms get tired. Pretty soon, I might think about walking places myself. I've seen other kids do it, and I'm starting to think it might be a good idea.

Four Generations

Here I am with my dad, my grandpa and my great grandpa's brother - four generations of Co men.

I don't know why I'm crying, sometimes babies cry, okay?

My Family Likes Food

In LA, I got to meet my dad's dad's side of the family. They are like me - they love to eat!

My Auntie Elise's lap was a great place to munch on a red pepper.

"The Nature"

I really like being out in "the Nature"
How about you?

Happy as a Clam

Or maybe a giant scallop...

Little Penguin

Of course, I saw a March of the Penguins... Who hasn't?

Jelly Dancing

We headed from Santa Cruz to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I loved watching the jellies dance around in their beautifully lit tanks.

Ken Doll?

We visited a good friend of my mom's from high school, Jake Kendall.

He gave us a tour of Santa Cruz, and made us some really yummy dinner.

Thanks, Uncle Jakey.
You're one cool dude.

Keeping Secrets

John Trudell whispered in my ear...
But, I can't tell you what he said because it was a secret.

I'm good at keeping secrets.

Baby Hippie Chicks

At the Bioneers Conference my parents really enjoying learning about sustainablity, and social justice.

Me, I was more in to the baby hippie chicks.

Hanging out at the Bioneers

Mom and Dad went to a conference called the Bioneers - check out bioneers.org for more information -

They learned a bunch of stuff about how to make the world a better place for me and
you.

I got to hang out with some musicians and crawl around in the grass without my pants!

Bea Benjamin

We made good friends with a lady in Marin named Bea Benjamin. She is an artist who likes to draw bees and dogs and other things.
She also like babies.

(All this traveling has left me feeling a little blurry and unfocused though...
I think I need a nap.)

Playing on the Beach

Me, mom and dad did a little playing on the beach!
